In a historic ruling, the US Supreme Court made same-sex marriage legal in all states last Friday.
Same-sex marriage has already been legal in South Africa since 2006, but Friday (26/06/2015) marked a significant date in America’s history with the legalisation of same-sex marriage across the country. Since this is a big step for the US, it’s no surprise that it’s been all over social media the past few days, with the hashtag #LoveWins. Even US President Barack Obama and democratic presidential candidate Hilary Clinton tweeted their excitement.
